It’s not clear where he got the two coin purses (full of coins, no less) from. While having them made it easy to not only get the Artisan to scurry off to the brothel and also to get himself in, those purses and coins had to come from somewhere — and there was no indication of where that was, in the unfolding story up to that point. Were they sitting untouched in his inventory, some kind of funding for starting players? One single panel of art could have explained it and closed this plot hole. It’s unfortunate that it was overlooked.
